Excellent post. Also just to elaborate on what one of the previous reviews said, some files are placed in the wrong folders, and also some other items are not being pointed at correctly, if at all, by the autorun.bat script. Because of these, you will see the following errors:

DriveLetter:\patches\wmp11\2008-08-11 KB939683.exe

and

DriveLetter:\patches\xp\2010-08-09 KB2115168.exe

The «redistributable» installers are also wrongly referenced in the autorun.bat file. So to fix everything, you do the following:

1. Move «2008-08-11 KB939683.exe» from «/patches/dotNET» to «/patches/wmp11/»;

2. Move «2010-08-09 KB2115168.exe» from «/patches/wmp11/» to «/patches/xp/»;

3. Edit «autorun.bat» and, in the «Installing Visual Redistributables» section, do the following:

A. Fix the path to include not just «\patches\», but also «\vcredist\» for all paths, so make them «\patches\vcredist\» instead;

B. Fix the name of one executable by renaming «fjs2.0se.exe» to the correct name, which is «vjs2.0se.exe»;

C. Before the «vjs2.0se.exe» row, add a new row with the following:
«%ToolPath%\patches\vcredist\vjs1.1.exe» /Q

D. After the «vc2013.exe» row, add two new rows with the following:
«%ToolPath%\patches\vcredist\vc2015.exe» /passive /norestart
«%ToolPath%\patches\vcredist\vc2017.exe» /passive /norestart

That will fix all the problems I detected. I am not sure if further problems exist, like perhaps autorun.bat ignoring further installers, and/or some update files simply missing from the collection. Based on the mistakes I saw, I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case. But this collection here still IS a very good starting point. I don’t know if anyone shared a better collection out there or not.

All else goes fine in the installation process. Although it is a bit annoying that the installation of the official themes require manual user input confirmation on the command line. Nonetheless, we certainly could use a «v2.0» bugfix of this collection.

To address the previous reviewer’s question, these are updates for the 32-bit versions of Windows XP, as can be inferred from the term «SP3», which is exclusive to them, be it the Professional Edition or any other. Not sure about XPe (XP Embedded), though, your mileage may vary with that. But these are certainly not for either of the two 64-bit editions (AMD64 and IA-64 architectures). So if you want to preserve and archive the updates for those OTHER editions, please do go on ahead and do so.
