Не так давно, копаясь в ящике в поисках трехгранного ключа, я с удивлением обнаружил, что храню три достаточно древних смартфона.

Ностальгия взяла верх и о чудо! Два раритета включились, а для третьего трудолюбивые граждане КНР еще производили аккумуляторы и его тоже можно было реанимировать. Перестав «пускать слезу» на СМСки 5-ти летней давности, я подумал, что просто обязан напомнить вам как выглядела ОС для смартфонов от Microsoft более чем 10 лет назад.

В этот раз у меня совсем мало свободного времени и я просто боюсь, что если не напишу сейчас, то не напишу уже никогда, поэтому в отличии от моих статей на Хабре, эта заметка будет короткая и текста в ней будет не сильно больше, чем фотографий.

Как я уже писал выше, времени у меня совсем не много, поэтому я прошу читателей простить мне, мой непрофессиональный подход. Дело в том, что мне чертовски не хочется ставить ActiveSync и искать программы для снятия скринштов для всех трех телефонов, а о том, как это сделать штатными средствами я честно не знаю. Поэтому я буду фотографировать.

В интернете много статей, описывающих эти смартфоны, поэтому я не буду тратить время на разбор характеристик и так далее, а просто поделюсь с вами своими субъективными воспоминаниями.

WM 2003 SE I-mate SP3I

Начнем мы с I-mate SP3I. Это был мой первый смартфон. В те времена, наладонники типа PALM или Pocket PC казались мне чем-то нереально крутым, особенно после неубиваемой «Нокии 3310» или не раз брошенной в стену (за ужасную работу) Motorola C350. В итоге насмотревшись на коммуникатор Qtek 2020i, который был у моего друга, я тоже захотел себе смартфон с Windows.

И надо сказать, что по тем временам I-mate SP3i, был не самым плохим телефоном, вот только был у него один недостаток – отсутствие стилуса.

Что же же нас ждет при включении телефона? Ну для начала как минимум минута томительного ожидания, в процессе которой нам показывают лого производителя и лого Windows Mobile

После чего мы встречаем рабочий стол смартфона. Батюшки! Да тут же есть все, что нужно офисному сотруднику: календарь, доступ к почте и смс, браузер IE mobile, и конечно пасьянс «Косынка».

На самом деле верхняя строка отражает последние открытые приложения, так что она изменяется в зависимости от активности пользователя.

Список настроек и приложений не особо богатый, но все основное есть. Также приложения можно было скачать в виде .cab архива и установить на смартфон, но я видимо все стер и оставил только заводские приложения.

Кстати в базовом комплекте приложений я не нашел пакета MS Office, но думаю что на телефоне без стилуса, он и не нужен.

Зато есть аж целых две игры, «косынка» и «шарики». На этом закончим с I-mate потому, что во время проверки, у него окончательно сломалась клавиатура.

WM 6.1: ASUS P750

Перейдем к более удачным в техническом плане решениям, а именно Windows Mobile 6.0.
Именно с ней если мне не изменяет память поставлялся: ASUS P750, но с того момента, я успел обновился до WM. 6.1, поэтому все скриншоты будут именно для этой версии (впрочем версии не очень сильно различались).

Как и в прошлом случае, при загрузке нам выпадает лого производителя и лого WM

И вот он стартовый экран.

Надо отметить, что по тем давним временам ASUS P750 и сама WM 6 были очень удачной комбинацией.

Пожалуй, из трех телефонов на WM, что у меня были это – лучшее сочетание.
В отличии от прошлого смартфона, в данном случае мы-таки имеем стилус.

Пожалуй, к одному из недостатков коммуникаторов тех времен, можно отнести маленький экран, помню, что я стилусом постоянно промахивался мимо символов клавиатуры (к счастью, была еще и механическая клавиатура)

Кстати, экран можно было повернуть.

Поскольку телефон позиционировался как модель для успешных и деловых людей, в нем конечно же был установлен MS Office, который меня выручал и во время учебы, и на шашлыках под гитару.

Для этой версии Windows можно было «накачать» целю кучу приложений. Чем я, собственно и занимался. Правда в нем с годами, сломался слот для карты памяти, так что почти все сторонние приложения (которые тогда легко ставились на карту памяти) отвалились и остались только заводские.

Кстати, о заводских приложениях, угадаете какие игры установлены по умолчанию?
Правильно, «шарики» и «косынка»

Правда играть в них стало заметно удобней.

WM 6.5: Garmin-Asus M10

Под впечатлением от прошлого телефона, я решил приобрести еще один, на базе следующего поколения Windows Mobile 6.5 — Garmin-Asus M10.

По моему личному мнению, это была ошибка сопоставимая разве, что с вложением в пирамиду МММ.

С одной стороны, сам аппарат оказался на мой взгляд неудачным. Он был слабый как смартфон и ужасно глючный как навигатор. С другой стороны, выбор операционной системы был тоже не самым мудрым.

Надо отметить, что уже в те времена передо мной стоял выбор купить телефон на WM 6.5 или Garmin-Asus A10 со второй версией Android.

«Android это что-то временное, он скоро загнется, а Microsoft большая серьезная корпорация, у WM большие перспективы развития, долгий цикл поддержки…» — примерно так я думал в те годы (и так ошибался).

Особенно прекрасно, что буквально через два месяца после покупки мной смартфона на WM 6.5, Microsoft с радостью объявила, что больше не будет его развивать и сконцентрируется на несовместимом с ней Windows Phone. Радости моей тогда небыло предела, ведь я остался с глючным куском барахла, который и не планировали обновлять и для которого сразу же престали писать адаптированные программы.

Но так или иначе нельзя сказать, что WM 6.5 была совсем уж бездарной операционной системой, многие привычные нам вещи в ней вполне можно было встретить, просто эти идеи небыли доработаны до приемлемой реализации (на мой взгляд).
Итак, включаем телефон.

Видим привычный многим современным пользователям экран блокировки, несколько рабочих столов с возможностью редактировать иконки, каскадный вид открытых приложений, ну и само привычное меню настроек и приложений.

Был безусловно и предустановленный офис версии 2010.

А вот игрушек в этом чуде техники пожадничали, как видите «шарики» видимо решили не позориться и отказались входить в заводской комплект. Осталась только «Косынка».

Пользоваться телефоном можно было как с помощью стилуса, так и тыкая в экран пальцами.
Правда экран не поддерживал мультитач, поэтому масштабировать было явно неудобно.

Надо сказать, что после этого телефона, я так разочаровался в «мобильной» продукции Микрософт, что ни одного телефона на Windows Phone себе не купил, поэтому на этом моя личная история мобильных ОС от Микрософт заканчивается.
