Although I’m late with my reply, Thank you for the positive feedback. I had another project in the works, but well…I lost it during a new computer transition.
I may work on porting it to Windows 8, If I have the time.

I’m glad others share the same opinion as I. Although I can’t make themes for Windows 7 anymore, (New Computer and such) I may still be able to make my own variants of themes for legacy Windows systems. Of course, the sounds would have to be searchable/findable.

Wally’s Answer: Running Windows 98 on a computer in this day and age makes very little sense. This is due to the fact that the cost of time and money that it would incur would outweigh any productive use of such a computer. Although, it can defiantly be done.
If you simply want to run Windows 98, you can always use VMware Player to run install and run Windows 98 inside your current version of Windows. You can certainly do this in case you want to go back to the past for a while or want to take a trip down digital memory lane.
What is Windows 98
Windows 98 is an old and very successful operating system developed by Microsoft. It uses a complete graphical user interface and was the second most major release in the Windows 9x line of operating systems.
It would easily run on a Pentium II computer without any problems, although the operating system may be prone to various malware and viruses since Microsoft ended support for Windows 98 in 2006. As the name implies, it was released in the year 1998. It was the successor to Windows 95. Windows 98 second edition was released in the year 1999 and was the last upgrade to Windows 98.

Web Integration
Windows 98 comes with Internet Explorer 4.01, and other browsers can also be installed. It also comes with Outlook Express for email, Windows Address Book for contacts, FrontPage Express for publishing, Web Publishing Wizard, and Windows Media Player 6.2 (only in Windows 98 second edition).
Support for Hardware Devices
Windows 98 supports various USB devices such as hubs, scanners, keyboards, mice, joysticks, and other devices.
System requirements of Windows 98
Windows 98 recommended requirements:
- 66 MHz or higher Pentium (or equivalent) processor
- 24 MB of RAM
- 500 MB of hard disk space
- VGA or higher resolution monitor (640 x 480)
- CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
(Windows 98 is not designed to handle more than 1.0 GB of RAM, and may give problems if more than 137 GB of hard drive space)
Windows 98 was supposed to be discontinued on January 16, 2004, but Microsoft kept supporting it until 2006 due to its popularity, and user-base.
