Smidy free! is a MIDI sequencer and DAW able to host VST 3 plugIns and external MIDI hardware side by side. External MIDI hardware and MIDI files are supported as long as they apply to the GM, GS, XG or GM2 MIDI standards. Программа VSTHost обладает встроенными плагинами входа и выхода и предоставляет возможность пользователю играть на синтезаторе с клавиатуры.

В данной статье описана установка и настройка VST3 хоста, который позволит использовать любые VST3 плагины, как совместно с AIMP (включая 64 битную версию), так и с любым другим цифровым источником звука.

Я рассматриваю сборку рабочего окружения на примере iZotope Ozone 10 VST3 и AIMP 64бит. Новые версии Озона выпускаются только в 64 битном варианте, потому и всю остальную систему мы собираем в той же битности.

ВОПРОС: «у меня есть любимые плагины для AIMP, которые работают только в 32 битном варианте, я не хочу ради Озона их терять, мне нужен 32 битный AIMP, что делать?»
ОТВЕТ: ничего страшного, используйте плейер, любой битности (32, или 64), это никак не повлияет на работу собираемой нами системы.

ВОПРОС: «у меня 32 битная Windows и я не могу установить все то, что Вы описываете. Что мне делать?»
ОТВЕТ: скорее всего у Вас старый компьютер, следовательно новые версии Озона не для Вас. Данную статью дальше можно не читать. Используйте более старые версии Озона (8 и ниже) и воспользуйтесь моими рекомендациями из этого топика.

С первого взгляда установка и настройка могут показаться сложными, однако я все разбил по пунктам и снабдил подробными инструкциями. Если внимательно следовать, то все получится.

1) Устанавливаем iZotope Ozone 10. Из устанавливаемых компонентов нам понадобятся только VST3, остальное для экономии места на диске можно отключить.

2) Устанавливаем драйвер виртуального аудио кабеля (архив в прикрепленном файле)
   2.1) Инсталлируем, запустив файл VBCABLE_Setup_x64.exe от имени администратора.
   2.2) Настройки самого кабеля не трогаем, установки по-умолчанию нас устраивают.

3) Устанавливаем SaviHost (архив в прикрепленном файле)
   3.1) Устанавливаем MS Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package x64.
   3.2) Копируем файл savihost.exe в папку C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\iZotope
   3.3) Переименовываем файл savihost.exe в Ozone 10.exe
   3.4) Пробуем запустить Ozone 10.exe. Если все установилось нормально, должно появиться окно с 10-м Озоном.
   3.5) Создаем ярлык (например на рабочем столе) для последующего запуска Ozone 10.exe
   3.6) Закрываем окно плагина.

4) Настраиваем SaviHost (ярлык для Ozone 10)
   4.1) Запускаем ОТ ИМЕНИ АДМИНИСТРАТОРА (правой клавишей на нашем ярлыке из пункта 3.5)
   4.2) В открывшемся окне, преходим в меню «View» и отключаем все тулбары,
        включая меню. Оставляем включенным только пункт «Check Max Size»
        Нам не нужны лишние кнопки, пианино и менюшки кроме самого Озона.
        Управлять программой будем через значок в верхнем левом углу окна,
        там и есть всё наше меню управления.
   4.3) В меню Devices -> Wave устанавливаем следующее:
        4.3.1) Input Port -> DS: Cable Output (VB Audio Virtual Cable)
        4.3.2) Output Port не трогаем, пусть остается Microsoft Sound Mapper
        4.3.3) Другие настройки (Sample Rate, Buffer) не трогаем.
   4.4) В меню File включаем пункт Autosave Plugin Bank
   4.5) Закрываем окно плагина.
   4.6) Открываем папку C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\iZotope,
        если выше все сделали правильно, там должен был появиться файл «Ozone 10.vst3.SAVIHost.fxb»,
        нам надо разрешить для пользователей системы редактирование (изменение) этого файла.
        Щелкаем на нем правой клавишей, в контекстном меню выбираем «Properties», ну и далее как на картинке…
       

6) Настраиваем AIMP (без разницы, 32, или 64 битная версия).
   6.1) Открываем настройки AIMP
   6.2) На первой же вкладке настроек (Воспроизведение) в выпадающем меню «Устройства» выбираем пункт «WASAPI: CABLE Input (VB-Audio Virtual Cable)», сохраняем и закрываем окно настроек.

7) Все готово, проверяем работу системы.
   7.1) Запускаем Озон  (ярлычок из пункта 3.5)
   7.2) Запускаем AIMP, если он еще не запущен.
   7.3) Включаем какую-нибудь фонограмму.
   7.4) Если все выше сдалели правильно, в окне Ozone оживут все индикаторы, все настройки будут влиять на звук. На этом все готово, можно отдыхать и пить кофе

Настройка закончена, наш VST плагин подключен к ВЫХОДУ виртуального аудио кабеля.
Теперь то, к чему мы подключим ВХОД виртуального кабеля и будет посылать звук
через наш VST плагин. Это может быть как какой-то плейер (например AIMP),
так и линейный вход звуковой карты компьютера. Таким образом появляется
возможность обрабатывать звук с внешних источников.

SaviHost можно использовать не только с Озоном, но и с любым другим VST3 плагином.
Просто копируем savihost.exe в папку с плагином и переименорвываем файл одинаково
с именем файла того VST3 плагина, который надо загрузить. Расширение файла SaviHost не трогаем,
оно должно оставаться .exe Ну и проводим настройку как описано выше.

С помощью аудио настроек Windows можно скоммутировать систему так, что VST плагин будет
по умолчанию работать со всей системой целиком (с любым плейером и другими программами),
однако я не рекомендую это делать. Продвинутые VST плагины, обрабатывающие звук в режиме реального времени, довольно сильно нагружают систему. К примеру при просмотре видео роликов с Ютуба никакая обработка звука не нужна. Делайте коммутацию только с того плейера (например AIMP), через который слушаете высококачественную музыку.

НЕ ЗАБЫВАЕМ! В начале запускаем наш плагин, а потом тот плейер, выход которого
Вы закоммутировали через виртуальный кабель. Иначе, если не включите плагин, звука не будет.
