Installare DirectX 8.1b o superiori per il corretto funzionamento delle applicazioni in Direct3D.

Driver ottenuto da Mikepedo partendo dai recenti Amigamerlin 2.0. Hanno prestazioni comparabili a quest’ultimi a parit� di settaggi ma introducono alcune novit� si� velocistiche sia qualitative. Alcune voci mancanti nei 3dfx Tools sono gi� ottimizzate (es. Guardband Clipping).

La release (8.55mb) rappresenta la migliore soluzione disponibile per la configurazione delle video card 3dfx Voodoo3, Voodoo4 e Voodoo5 in ambiente Windows 98, 98SE e ME. Amigamerlin ha introdotto in questa revisione del driver ulteriori parametri per il controllo dell’hardware che, parallelamente ad alcune librerie notevolmente rivisitate, consentono netti incrementi della velocit� di elaborazione in misura strettamente connessa alla capacit� di calcolo dell’unit� centrale.

Risolti in questa release alcuni bugs evidenziati dalla precedente versione: ora viene visualizzato correttamente il tools dither subtraction. Sono stati inoltre aggiunti il voodoorush emulator ed il force 32 bit D3D render. Migliorata infine la stabilit� e il valore medio dell’ fps msurabile con i titoli in D3D. Versione senza 3dfx Tools per ridurre i tempi di download.

Xpentor Voodoo3 X-ForceDGL II MIX
Dal Team Xpentor arriva questo driver in versione final beta che supporta le schede video 3dfx Voodoo3 2000 e 3000 con i sistemi operativi Windows 9X/ME. Il kit occupa 1.71mb e non contiene i 3dfx Tools. Migliorate sia le prestazioni con le librerie Glide e OpenGL che l’implementazione dell’ HSR in D3D.
