vmware-workstation-iconЗамучал я тут компьютер на работе окончательно. Ну глючил он у меня достаточно давно, а тут прилетело свежее обновление на Windows 8.1, которое его окончательно угробило. По этому поводу решил снести всё и накатить десятку. Не Балтику-10, а Windows-10 🙂

Ну а теперь настал тот момент, когда я восстанавливаю софт, доставляю всё, что было раньше. Ну и естественно мне надо было поставить vSphere Client. Ставиться он не захотел, ругаясь на отсутствие .NET Framework 3.5:

Коллега подсказал солюшен, как его поставить.

Качаем iso-образ с Windows-10, распаковываем его и кладем папку source например на диск D. Дальше от администратора в консоле выполняем команду.

Note, there is no client application (known as the legacy c# client) for vSphere 6.5 or 6.7. Instead, the web client is used. There are a few different web based clients available in vSphere 6.5 and 6.7. These are:
