Unigram has 28 built-in languages and has access to unlimited packs using Telegram translations platform.

Windows 10 N

In order to be able to use Unigram in Windows 10 N, you will need Media Feature pack. To install it properly, go to Settings > Apps and Features > Add a feature. At this point, select Media Feature pack, install it and reboot.

Privacy policy

In order to guarantee a great user experience, Unigram uses some third party services:

Microsoft Bing Maps
Used to generate map previews when receiving and sharing locations.
Microsoft AppCenter
Used to collect anonymous crash data and usage statistics, fundamental to monitor app health and to fix issues.
Anonymised data is stored for 28 days.

Additionally to this, Telegram privacy policy applies.

Unigram — альтернативный клиент онлайн-сервиса Telegram для операционных систем Windows 10 и 11, который может функционировать, как на компьютерах, так и на других устройствах под управлением указанных версий операционных систем. Приложение распространяется бесплатно через Microsoft Store. Интерфейс имеет перевод на русский язык, но местами он отсутствует.

Каких-то принципиальных отличий от, скажем так, классического Telegram-клиента программа Unigram не имеет. Это все тот же мессенджер с поддержкой аудио- и видеозвонков. Однако Unigram относится к приложениям, поддерживающимся универсальной платформой Windows (UWP), что говорит о возможности его установки на компьютеры, игровые приставки Xbox One, очки смешанной реальности Microsoft HoloLens и интерактивные доски (экраны) Surface Hub.

Как и ряд других альтернативных клиентов онлайн-сервиса, программа Unigram создана библиотеке баз данных Telegram — TDLib (Telegram Database library).

Чтобы авторизоваться в сервисе, потребуется ввести код, отправляемый Unigram в виде сообщения в один из любых клиентов Telegram, уже авторизованных в системе. Можно также воспользоваться функцией считывания QR-кода в мобильном приложении Telegram. Кстати, на самом телефоне после авторизации оригинальный клиент можно удалить — Unigram продолжит свою работу до тех пока пользователь вручную не удалит свой аккаунт из программы.

Microsoft Store uploads a new version of the Unigram application i.e. Unigram 4.0 (5098). Titled “an unofficial Telegram client optimized for Windows 10”, this is a way cooler and faster app for Windows 10 users. Its interface offers no lag, scrolling is much swift and quick. Talking about the syncing, there’s not a match of the Telegram app.

As of now, this is rated 4.1 with 71 reviews and 400 Million active users. The new version i.e. Unigram 4.0 now provides better security, syncing, improved and reliable interface, etc. Moreover, this doesn’t pose any limit to the Media size or type. When it comes to including members, this supports 200K users.

How to Get the Unigram 4.0 on Windows 10

To download and install Unigram 4.0 on Windows 10 PC, use the below steps –

At first, visit the official page and hit the Get button.

A pop-up will appear prompting to “Open Microsoft Store”, click Open.
When the Windows Store comes into view, hit the Get button again.
The system will then look for compatibility issues and if none found, downloading starts.

After you see the “The product is installed” message, click the Launch button.

That’s it, now you own the Unigram 4.0 application.

How to start messaging on Unigram 4.0

Since you already own the application, click its icon to start Unigram.
Just enter a valid “Mobile number” and verify it to access the interface.

Note: Make sure to use the credentials matching to that of the Telegram app.

If you haven’t created an account on Telegram, open the Message app, and see whether you receive any five-digit code or not.
Copy the security code and fill in over Unigram interface.
That’s it, you may now enjoy messaging to the friends that are already on either Telegram or Unigram.
