Logisim is a simple and easy to use program to create and test digital circuits. Very useful for engineers and people who know or have a passion for electronic science. You can use it to design or create electronic circuits.

The program has the function drag&drop and you can add shapes and lines with the computer mouse. The files can be saved with the .circ extension (circuit).

You can create projects, copy and duplicate schemes, analyze circuits and more. The program can be used with the function “Simulation” enabled and this allows to test and check if the circuit is correct. You can add wires, gates, text, also to create subcircuits.

The software is created for educational purposes, to learn how to design digital circuits, but can be used by beginners or advanced users.

A detailed manual for Help is available and you can learn how to use the program with maximum efficiency.

Logisim is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in miscellaneous category and is available to all software users as a free download.

FIX: Renamed the file logisim-win-2.7.1.exe to Logisim-win-2.7.1.jar. then run it.
This problem occurs when switched to OpenJava.
could be better/updated but still cool
the whole thing just looks old, you cant package parts into a new logic gate (unless I’m dumb)
would be cool if you could do that and start from scratch using just an and a not gate

Very useful and also quite intuitive in many respects.
If something is not self explanatory then the included manual/help works sufficiently due to its good structure.
A few glitches might be in the codes. A save and reload just fixes that.
