Description

Xenia for is an experimental emulator for the Xbox 360 developed for PC Windows x86 and x64, Linux and macOS (and now also compatible with Android and iOS).

Even if it’s not a finished product that’s accessible to everyone, it’s the groundwork for something that could become a very interesting project.

In a few words: you can use it to emulate games, but it’s a pretty complex process.

Features

This is a free and open-source software that allows the users to play the Xbox 360 console games on a personal computer.

Xenia doesn’t require any Xbox 360 system files.

Xenia Xbox 360 emulator only supports Windows 10/8.1/8 and should be equipped with a 64-bit x86 processor, Vulkan-compatible graphics processing unit, Xinput-supported controller, AVX-support (Haswell or Intel Sandy Bridge).

Xenia will check for the minimum supported CPU and GPU on startup and error out if one is not detected.

Make sure that you have the latest drivers installed, you cannot just remove the checks in the code and assume things will work.

System requirements may vary depending on your hardware configuration.

For the best Windows experience, users should be running with:

• Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019

OpenGL and Direct3D11 or lower are not, and never will be supported.

Xenia doesn’t currently have stable builds, but you can obtain pre-release builds from the links below.

Install

1. Download the .zip archive
2. Extract the .zip archive on a folder
3. Select the folder containing the extracted file
4. Open the file .exe as administrator
5. Press install button
6. Launch the software
