Необходимо отметить, что предложенный драйвер является официальным и совместим с 32-х битными операционными системами Windows XP/2000. Размер файла: 0.8 Мб. Установку программного обеспечения необходимо производить вручную. Других официальных версий драйвера не существует, так как производитель прекратил поддержку принтера.
Однако существуют рекомендации, после выполнения которых, появится возможность использовать Xerox DocuPrint P8ex в 32-х и 64-х битных ОС Windows 7 и 8. Предложенная последовательность действий основана на подмене драйвера принтера на программное обеспечение смежных или функционально похожих моделей.
Доступны следующие неофициальные варианты установки:
- ручная установка драйвера от HP LaserJet 2200 для Windows 7/Vista.
Подключите устройство к ПК. Заходим в Панель управления, затем Устройства и принтеры. В меню Файл выбрать Добавить принтер.
В появившемся окне выбираем Добавить локальный принтер. Далее, выставляем порт.
В следующем окне выбираем Изготовитель HP, а в разделе Принтеры HP LaserJet 2200 Series PCL 5. Если данной модели нет в списке, нажимаем на Установить с диска и указываем путь к файлу драйвера (доступен для скачивания), который предварительно нужно разархивировать.
Нажимаем Далее, до тех пор, пока Мастер установки не завершит свою работу. В процессе инсталляции, Windows может генерировать различные оповещения. Рекомендуется продолжить.
Размер архива: 4.64 Мб. - установка HP PCL 5 драйвера для Windows 8.
Запускаем предложенный инсталлятор. Когда появится окно Режим установки, будут доступны следующие варианты: Обычный режим, Динамический режим и USB. Выбираем USB — Plug and Play. Также необходимо отметить пункт Добавить драйвер HP Universal Printing PCL 5 в хранилище драйверов Windows. Нажимаем Далее, до завершения процесса установки.
