There seems to be no product support from HP for older scanners in Windows 10. The only suggestion is to buy a new scanner. I have always been faithful to HP. So I will buy a new scanner……BUT…….. it will not be an HP since they no longer care about supporting their prodcuts and loyal customers.

I’ve just tried to install driver for Win7 x64 on my Win10 x64 machine. Everithing works fine so far

I feel it is absolutly rediulous to suggest or force a «Loyal-Happy customer» into another product because you refuse to support a perfectly working scanner! I bought an HP Scanjet 4850 back in 2005 and it still works!! Now unfortunately, I cannot use it due to the Manufacturer of all people????????????? This is redicoulous!! I feel like I should be refunded or given a new scanner to use! I bet you they wont respond to this remark…
