of SeaMonkey (see the System
Requirements). We do not support any of the applications and versions
listed below. If your operating system or computer is no longer supported
by official SeaMonkey releases, the only way to continue using officially
supported SeaMonkey versions is to upgrade your operating system and/or
computer.
- The last version with Mac OS X 10.9 and 10.10 support was SeaMonkey 2.53.14.
- The last version supporting the JS ES draft array comprehensions, legacy iterators and generators was SeaMonkey 2.53.12
- The last version supporting the Flash NPAPI plugin was SeaMonkey 2.53.6.
- The last version supporting Windows XP/Server 2003 and Vista/Server 2008 was SeaMonkey 2.49.5.
- The last version supporting plugins other than Flash on Windows and Linux was SeaMonkey 2.49.5.
- The last version with ALSA support on Linux was SeaMonkey 2.49.5.
- The last version supporting plugins other than Flash under macOS was SeaMonkey 2.49.4.
- The last version with gtk2 support on Linux was SeaMonkey 2.48.
- The last version with Mac OS X 10.8 support was SeaMonkey 2.40.
- The last version for Windows with support for older CPUs not supporting the SSE2 instruction set was SeaMonkey 2.40.
- The last version with Mac OS X 10.5 support was SeaMonkey 2.13.
- The last version with Windows 2000 and Windows XP without SP2 support was SeaMonkey 2.9.

Пользуюсь этим браузером на Runtu Lite 18.04 x32. Восторгов по нему не разделяю, и дело не в дизайне из 90-х. На пустой стартовой странице в этом браузере компьютер потребляет около 350 Мб ОЗУ из 1242 доступных, но процессор (32-битный Селерон на 1,8 ГГц) загружается на 100%. А в ходе интернет-сёрфинга потребление ОЗУ доходит до 700 с лишним Мб, при этом память высвобождается лишь при закрытии браузера. И это с одной единственной открытой вкладкой! Ещё этот браузер очень часто глючит и вылетает, а расширений на него, кроме блокировщика рекламы и словарей разной степени кривизны, вообще нет никаких, потому что большая часть из предлагаемых расширений попросту «не совместима»!
Это не браузер, а просто какой-то паршивый косплей Эксплорера, у которого из плюсов лишь большое количество настроек. Но какой толк от настроек, когда браузер падает чуть реже, чем всегда, а расширений на него нет?
Если бы не дистрибутив, я бы с этим недобраузером ни за что бы не стала связываться. Мой выбор остаётся за Хромом, даже несмотря на то, что его 32-битные версии больше не поддерживаются. Собственно, именно с Хрома в 49 версии я сейчас и пишу, загрузив ПК под ХР, и аналогичных Seamonkey проблем с ним нет и никогда не было, не говоря уж про то, что Хром не так сильно нагружает столь древнее железо. Хотела бы иметь точно такой же современный и стабильный браузер как Хром и на 32-битном Линуксе, но увы.

Мне понравился браузер,у меня виндовс хр-старый ноутбук.Раньше пробовала Файерфокс-все тупило ужасно,а тут все хорошо! Шустро!

Хороший браузер, дизайн скорее интересный, чем унылый, так как все остальные гонятся за трендами. Из минусов: мало расширений и будет еще меньше, так как Мозилла поменяла в Огнелисе движок, некоректное отображение элементов на некоторых сайтах. Для решения этих проблем нужно большое комьюнити, чего, к сожалению, у программы нет(

Первые ощущения — шустряк и экономия ресурсов, после хрома на ХР с 1 Гб оперативки это просто изумление! … но затем почему-то начало набирать оперативную память во время серфинга =( в итоге как бы шило на мыло вышло! Да поставил 2 расширения — блокировщик рекламы и «Вкомфорте»!

Браузеры на основе Хром, на «глазах» толстеют, и чтоб много памяти не забирал приходится либо временно отключать расширения, либо лезть в диспетчер зада хромированного браузера и удалять все процессы, получается псевдо-автономный режим.
Но мой любимый браузер «FireFox Mozila 3.6». Там до сихпор работает гугловская панель, с помощь которой перевожу локальные текстовые файлы (txt-файлы переносил в браузер).
