Совместное использование многофункционального устройства или usb-устройства хранения данных  

С помощью утилиты SharePort Plus Network USB пользователи могут совместно пользоваться функциями печати, сканирования и факса в офисе или дома, просто подключив многофункциональное USB-устройство. Достоинства:
Бюджетный роутер: высокоскоростной Wi-fi, автоматическое переключение режима 2,4 и 5 ГГц. Хороший сигнал по всей квартире.
А также четыре гигабитных порта (что немаловажно для домашней сети). Подставка для вертикального расположения.

Недостатки:
При первоначальной настройке не сохранял пароли доступа к интернету. Работу L2TP я не проверял, пока не требуется.
Сейчас модель снята с производства: (Через полгода выгорели порты, месяц роутер был в ремонте. Сейчас начал глючить Wi-Fi. Перезагружать приходится раз в день.

Комментарий:
Роутер приобретен т. к. встала проблема раздачи интернета на свои мобильные устройства. До того были пляски со «свистком» TP-Link и программой Connectify.
Интернет раздавался через постоянно включенный компьютер со службой ICS, которая блокировала часть подключений (к FTP-серверам). После покупки роутера, на настройку/подключение к сети уходит значительно меньше времени.
D-link DIR-835 сначала зависал раз в месяц — лечится не кнопкой перезагрузки, а выключением/включением на соответствующую кнопку. Сразу после покупки обновил прошивку — делается легко из админки.

ipv6. мощный, простой. при желании можно сделать свой маленький сервер.

Многофункциональный

Недостатки:
Не поддерживает l2tp beeline. Перепрошивкой не лечится.

Достоинства:
Мощный сигнал, две сети 2,4 и 5 Ghz, множество настроек, причем годится и для профи и для освоения начинающими — вполне нормальная передача по Wi-Fi FullHD видео с минимумом настроек и без обновления прошивки.

Недостатки:
отработал три недели, перестал видеть провайдера через WAN (подключение Static IP), порты LAN напрочь сдохли — перестали видеть подключенные кабели. Заменён на второй экземпляр с теми же HW: А1 и Firmware 1.01 — отработал месяц, отказ с теми же симптомами.

Полагаю, что третий такой же брать бессмысленно?

Достоинства:
— 2х диапазонный — 2,4 Mhz и 5Mhz
— все что нужно штуки типа проброса портов, dyndns, человеческого dhcp умеет

Недостатки:
На текущих прошивках v1.01 и v1.02 (а других и нет) не работает в Beeline/Corbina Москва -не может поднять L2TP VPN к провайдеру Beeline.
OpenWRT и DD-WRT пока официально не имеют готовых прошивок под него. Видимо можно собрать OpenWRT из исходников но это нужно напрячься. Не всякий осилит — я нет.

Достоинства:
Высокая скорость передачи, мощный сигнал, т. к. имеет 3 антены, 2х диапазонный — 2,4 Mhz и 5Mhz.

Недостатки:
По технической части — не выявлено.
Маркий блестящий корпус, от пальцев остаются следы, но недостатком врятли это можно назвать.

Комментарий:
Фильмы в формате HD на телевизоре LG Smart TV, показывают без тормозом, кстати телевизор находится в дальней спальне, и сигнал пробивает через большое кол-во бетонных стен. До этого стоял D-link DIR-400, в эту спальню сигнал плохо доходил, и интернет на телевизоре не работал. Моделью очень доволен, все работает без тормозов и зависаний.

DIR-835 Rev A1 is a 3T3R (on 5GHz) version of D-Link DIR-825 rev C1 (same PCB).

Hardware is very similar to TP-Link WDR4300 but DIR-835 has more flash and is physically more compact.

Flash DIR-835-A1 “factory” OpenWrt image file (e.g. openwrt-ar71xx-generic-dir-835-a1-squashfs-factory.bin) via D-Link firmware upgrade in web interface. *NOTE* the process completion is not obvious so give plenty of time and do not be confused as the LED power light will end up being AMBER instead of GREEN as on stock firmware; LED functionality can be adjusted through ‘LUCI > System > Led Configuration’.

Note that default D-Link IP address is 192.168.0.1 and OpenWrt will default to 192.168.1.1. Make sure your PC obtains a new IP address from DHCP (or use static) after installation. Initial connection must be over ethernet (you should flash over ethernet anyway).
