OptiCraft is a Fabric modpack, which improves in-game FPS (frames per second) to make your Minecraft expirience less stressful and more exiting!
Main mod, on top of which the idea and modpack itself were build is Sodium!
Our main principles for the modpack are:

This is the Windows app named OptiCraft whose latest release can be downloaded as Opticraft_Alpha_0.1.0.tar.gz. It can be run online in the free hosting provider OnWorks for workstations.

Follow these instructions in order to run this app:
— 1. Downloaded this application in your PC.
— 2. Enter in our file manager https://www.onworks.net/myfiles.php?username=XXXXX with the username that you want.

This was a community project on smp.opticraft.net
it was a simple design just to have a bit of fun, This texture pack has nothing to do with X-Ray or any thing to do to cheat either Single/multi player.
Additional Notes
This was my first Texture pack
This looks like it has so much potential, once the config files contain IDs I’ll probably use this as one of my main transport mods.
Also some suggestions:
Stack upgrade
— Makes lasers capable of sending stacks — Or even some sort of multi-block laser that transports more items but accepts multiple crystals
Friction generator
— Generates small amounts of energy if a mob is on top of the block, maybe has some sort of delay with the energy generation. Not really related to light but would be a funny way to generate power
Mirror
— Reflects the laser to another direction; can face diagonally to transport horizontally from the original laser line, as well as being able to be tilted slightly upwards to send laser vertically — There could also be splitting mirrors that make one laser turn into two and share output between the two inventories. (You would probably want only one of these allowed to be on each network as trying to get the items to be shared between large amounts of inventories would likely be quite difficult/time consuming).
Larger storage systems
— Could be simple single block structures with an increased energy storage or they could even be multi-block, with each block adding to the maximum capacity of lux.
Laser powered machines
— Not exactly sure what types of machines would be useful with the 100 billion other mods with similar machines — Lasers could also power the Lux capacitor, however it may be wise to implement some form of energy loss when using the lasers to transport energy to avoid power loops and also make it less OP. The laser used to transport energy could be different to the regular laser and cost quite a large amount to craft.
Compatibility with BC lasers
— BC lasers are capable of powering some of the laser machines or even the lasers themselves to increased the transmission speed of the laser as well as increase its range if its not infinite range already.
Laser cover
— Can look like any vanilla block, transmits the laser through itself if lasers cannot already be transmitted through walls. Would be for aesthetics so there is no holes in walls.
FMP support
— Shooting lasers underneath covers and blocks that don’t take up half a block would be so cool. Imagine factory floor in your base with glass covers running over top of lasers. Obviously this would only be needed if the lasers passed through transparent blocks anyway or weren’t affected by multiparts.
RF support
— I believe that most mods are going towards adding RF support because it’s much more mod friendly so this could be much more helpful than converting to EU or MJ. However you could probably add support for all three by adding some sort of converter for each one. Would be cool if the only way to convert to EU, MJ or RF was through the use of the Power lasers, not the solar. Could use some form of Lux to EU, MJ or RF converter block/laser receiver.
Anyway I hope you do great with the mod and I will likely be following the development of it quite closely as it looks so cool. Also I hope you liked some of the suggestions or got some inspiration for content from them.
Opticraft-Classic
This is the new home for the original Opticraft Minecraft classic server, originally hosted over at sourceforge.
Opticraft-Classic is a project that was developed in my spare time during my first year of studies at university.
It fully implements the original classic server protocol and provides significantly more features than the vanilla server implementation.

Development
Opticraft will run on virtually any platform that supports Python 2. Once you’ve cloned the repository, you can simply run the server by executing python run.py.
The default configuration options should work for most setups, however they’re worth tinkering with once you’ve got the server running.
Plugins
There are several plugins which ship with opticraft, some of which provide core behaviour and are enabled by default. Plugins can be found within the Plugin directory.
The server determine which plugins to load via the configuration file setting.

Contributions are welcome! For small changes submit pull requests directly, however anything significant should start as an issue for discussion
Disclaimer
The codebase has aged significantly, and in retrospect the code style chosen at the time might not’ve been the most standard.
Despite this the software is still in use today. Feel free to give it a look over.
