Сам пока только очень поверхностно ознакомился с функциями. Но уже под впечатлением).
Общее: нетяжелый прибор. Пластик (даже верхняя часть, цвета металлик). Руководство только в электронном виде, на англ. и франц. + краткий видео-туториал на двд. Немного смутила надпись на ярлычке с серийный номером: made in China.
Клавиатура: приятная, в меру упругая, почти не шумит. Velocity Curve: 6 пресетов либо фиксированное ограничение. Может делиться на 4 зоны. Афтертач приятный)
Пэды: 8 штук. Для Live! пришлось переназначить. Автоматом почему то были на 2 октавы ниже настроены, чем кнопки Impulse. Чувствительность настраивается. Могут назначаться как на отдельные ноты, так и на СС, NRPN, RPN, SYSEX, MMC и т.п. Например можно привязать силу нажатия пэда к глубине фильтра в какого-нибудь плагина.
Роторы: Ход мягкий. Ручки прорезиненные (update: на самом деле не фига не прорезиненные, просто такое впечатления от пластика)
Энкодеры: энкодеры как энкодеры. Один оказался довольно тугим. Дефект. Потом попробую исправить, если будет сильно напрягать.
Слайдеры: шаг точный, несмотря на то, что длина слайдеров небольшая.
Кнопки: резиновые.
Кнопки транспорта: то же, что Кнопки, только с значками транспорта. Могут назначаться как любые другие кнопки.
Джойстик: пластиковый, с прорезиненной ручкой. Пич/мод, но может назначаться на что угодно.
Тачпад: 4 зоны. X1 X2 Y1 Y2. Т.е. можно управлять сразу 4 параметрами. В Live! назначаются эти зоны несколько геморно. Т.к. лайв пытается определить только один параметр за раз, а ему посылается несколько. Поэтому нужно на контроллере выключать поочереди ненужные зоны, чтобы назначить нужную.
Дисплеи: можно менять контраст, чтобы обеспечить наилучшее качество отображения при просмотре с разных углов (типа, дома за столом спереди смотрим, в клубе — сверху). Две длиииииииные строки (как правило: ИМЯ и ЗНАЧЕНИЕ параметра), у каждой сбоку по две кнопки скроллинга страниц.
Аутомап: если хост загружается после включения клавиатуры, то он определяется автоматически и настройки загружаются соответствующие. На дисплеях отображаются названия ВСТи и названия треков так как они названы в хосте. На данный момент темплейты для 5 хостов Cubase SX3/SL3, Nuendo 3, Reason 3, Live!, Logic. Обещают больше. Можно создавать свои аутомапы с помощью редактора — это я пока не тестил. Редактор можно скачать с оф сайта.
Темплейты для популярных ВСТи. Всего, вместе с аутомап — 40.
