I broke my wireless adapter when my laptop fell off the couch. I’m writing this review, so I guess this adapter works pretty well. This really makes a better connection than the standard adapter of my laptop. Probably the best $ 7 I spent on a computer, that’s all. And it’s so small that I do not even realize it. Good purchase, simple solution. Install your own driver and everything. It works very well on my MacBook Pro OS X 10.10. I had some problems installing the driver downloaded from the Netis website. For some reason, my mac thought that the zip was corrupt. I downloaded the file to an online service to unzip it and it worked fine. A little strange but it worked.
The driver has installed a small application icon in the upper toolbar. It was annoying and it did not matter. I disabled it by simulating with the plist file in /Library/LaunchAgents/Wlan.Software.plist Change <true> to <false> and it will disappear.I can not say enough about this little thing. I liked it so much that I bought another one as a backup. I’ve gone through my adapters in the past, and this has worked better. It is also super small and low profile. It lights up very slightly, enough to let you know it works, but not to worry about seeing it on your laptop while you work. It works immediately in the vast majority of cases, probably with the easiest connectivity and availability of any adapter you have ever had. There are always problems from time to time, but I unplug it and reconnect it several times and end up working without doing anything else.
