The Visual C++ Redistributable Packages install run-time components that are required to run applications that are developed by using Visual Studio 2013, on computers that don’t have Visual Studio 2013 installed. These packages install run-time components of these libraries: C Runtime (CRT), Standard C++, ATL, MFC, C++ AMP, and OpenMP.

Описание
Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 – среда разработки для программирования на языке C++. Программа содержит в себе все необходимые библиотеки и плагины для того, чтобы создавать программы как в консольном, так и в оконном виде.
Для создания новой программы необходимо нажать на кнопку «New project» в главном меню. Затем нужно выбрать настройки программы, задать имя. После написания кода программу можно скомпилировать (собрать и выполнить) прямо в среде разработки.
Для запуска уже существующей программы из Microsoft Visual C++ необходимо открыть файл проекта в разрешении sln.
Чтобы быстро приступить к работе над проектом, на главной странице приложения есть раздел «последние», в котором представлены последние открытые проекты.
Для разработки оконных приложений в программе присутствует удобный редактор, позволяющий добавлять элементы на окно программы вручную, без написания кода.
Чтобы пользователю было удобно перемещаться по отдельным функциям программы, в среде разработки есть вкладка Team Explorer. В больших проектах она помогает быстро найти нужную функцию.
В Microsoft Visual C++ версии 2013 присутствуют инструменты для создания и работы с базами данных, подключении их к существующим проектам.
Помимо программирования на языке C++, в среде разработки можно также создавать приложения на HTML, JavaScript, .Net и C#.
