Многие замечали, что при длительной работе монитора компьютера или телевизора, на экране появляются маленькие квадратики или их скопления. Они могут быть синего, зеленого, красного, черного или другого цвета. При этом артефакты не меняют цвет, независимо от фонового изображения. Если Вы заметили подобное на своем мониторе, не пугайтесь. Чтобы «оживить» пиксели экрана, необходимо скачать программу JScreenFix. Принцип ее работы прост. Поскольку «отмирание» пикселей зачастую происходит из-за отображения одной и той же картинки в течение длительного времени, необходимо максимально нагрузить поврежденный сектор другими цветами. Для этого программа запускает квадрат с постоянно меняющимися цветами. Пользователю лишь нужно переместить объект на поврежденный участок монитора. «Лечение» может занять от нескольких минут до нескольких часов.

Перед запуском утилиты рекомендуется установить максимальные значения контраста и яркости, а также выбрать самое большое разрешение экрана. Также для работы необходимо установить на компьютер Java JRE, если его нет.
