If you’re interested in using Huawei SmartHome on your PC or Mac, you may be wondering how to download the app and get started. Fortunately, there are many resources available online that can guide you through the process similar to this article.
Samsung Galaxy Note20 ultra & FreeBuds Pro. The app doesn’t have any functionality. It only indicates that the earbuds are connected but it does not provide controls or an operating system. The latest version was downloaded online. It only showed that the earbuds were connected to my smartphone. There are no controls. Software is terrible, but earbuds work.
It is very simple to use and intuitive. The layout has all you need, and the advanced settings are hidden away. Problem is, when I launch the app, my router doesn’t show up on my device. It also says that it’s offline. This is a problem because I can still connect via http and any other devices. The router should appear online if I restart my phone.
Bravo to Huawei It was a very user-friendly and organized app. The connection was quick and easy. They were used with the FreeBuds 3; I would have written a better review if there had been more shortcuts. One example could be to go to the previous song or to add the ability to double tap. You can access more functions without having to use your phone.
Although the app requested to be updated, it was not able to. After the update was completed, the router stopped connecting to the internet. The signal was red. It was impossible to change anything in the router settings. It was my SIM, so I put it into a cell phone. Everything was good. The only thing that I was able to do was reset my router factory. The router then worked as it was supposed to. It was then deleted because it is clearly dangerous.
App updated about five days ago. The app gives me a 95% signal rating, but it still says that I am poor. I used the channel option to adjust/optimize, and although the bar appears almost straight across it turns red and shows poor. Download speeds are close to 50mb, and upload is around 39mb. These speeds can fluctuate, but they rarely buffer. This is for at least 20 connections. This app used to be excellent, but it is now poor. I’m not sure why. It used to be okay, but it causes confusion.
It no longer functions properly. The original version worked well as long as the third-party store prompts were ignored. It now flags secondary routers for being disconnected, even though they work. This was confirmed by the browser log-in to the main router. I connected my laptop via Ethernet cable to test them.
The most annoying update! Every time you open the app, it asks for your password. If you close the app, it will not monitor your router and give you an error. You would have to close it again and then reopen the app to enter the password. The UI doesn’t allow you to see the USSD codes you have entered or the USSD results. Text colour is blended with background color, making it invisible.
Although this application looks promising, it still needs a lot of work. Only one router is connected via WIFI. It does not recognize the router automatically so I need to scan it every time. The app prompts me for Bluetooth permission, which I do not need to be able to recognise the router. This app can be used on more than one router. It is a terrible app. The app needs to scan wirelessly at startup.
It’s not stable, and it won’t function without WiFi/4G. Good graphics. Other than that, *if you get freebuds 3,* the app is not available. You can’t skip to the next or previous screen, and activate active noise cancellation without opening the app.
Several of the most important features do not work. The USSD does not work at all. Upload and download speeds for all devices connected are not displayed, nor for the entire router. The battery level does not sync properly, even though it is plugged in just after the indicator turned red. The device turn-off feature isn’t available. App is a complete sham. 0 stars.
This is the most ineffective app I have ever used. It has been installed three times and uninstalled three times. 1. The app is in portrait mode, and cannot be altered. Camera alignment is off-center. It cannot be adjusted. Try it with your tablet, and you will be amazed. 2. The camera cannot scan the code because it is offset. It is a waste of time to align with the camera, and it can’t scan QR. 3. If you manually connect, it doesn’t recognise and can’t be configured. It’s not worth making things more difficult. These should not make your life more difficult. It took me 30 minutes to find the right solution.
First time user. I purchased an AX3 router. There was a QR code advising people to get this app. The router was successfully set up, but the app could not pick it up even though my P20 Pro phone is connected. The app wouldn’t allow me to add the router manually. I then saw the box that said it worked with HiLink, and connected instead. All the functions were there.
It is unbelievable! It worked fine up until Nov 2019, when it changed its firmware. It keeps telling me that my password is wrong and I can’t log into the router to view the settings. This is the same password that I use for all of my devices. Why was this necessary? You are also asked for permission to view your entire phone’s personal information. This is not necessary for the update to function. Complete disappointment! This is my final disappointment!
I have been using the Huawei WS5200 router since a while without any issues. Huawei updated their app without testing it. My router is now virtually unusable because they have broken the app. My password is not working. The app refuses to accept it. I cannot log in to the router using my correct password. The router settings are not accessible. Until this issue is resolved, stay away from Huawei products. It’s not fit for purpose.
This was downloaded to fix the 4g hub problems I had, prompting me by Three. After downloading, you will be asked to install an update that is not available on the Play Store. This means you’ll have two copies of this app and should delete the first one. It is obvious that I won’t be downloading unknown apps from random sources. However, this will help me fix my hub issues.
