Product: Omen By Hp Laptop 15-ce0xx

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It is two days (I have installed Windows 10 about a year ago) that I get an error message at startup.

This App can’t run on this PC

HP accelerometer

HP accelerometer doesn’t work on this version of Windows. An updated app may be available.

Could someone please help me out?

Hi,

Did you go to control panel and uninstall the HP 3D Driveguard, then reboot the PC. Now install the HP 3D DriveGuard from the link above and reboot PC.

Hello!

After upgrading Win 10 to version 1709 build 1699.64 i experienced the same problem with HP Accelerometer.

I also tried the solution you provided, but till now it does not work.

ПО HP 3D DriveGuard прекращает работы с выводом сообщения «Помощника по совместимости программ». Эта проблема возникает при каждом запуске компьютера, работающего под управлением Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (RS3).

Several users are encountering the “HP accelerometer doesn’t work on this version of Windows” error at every Windows Startup. Some affected users reported that the Accelerometer was working normally until a Windows 10 update.  As it turns out, the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (RS3) is responsible for the error.

The Hewlett Packard’s HP accelerometer is designed to boost HDD protection. If it detects high-speed movement, it will instantly disengage the read head. This significantly reduces the change of your HDD is damaged.

3. Удалите поврежденные драйверы и переустановите их вручную

Если обновление драйвера не устраняет ошибку акселерометра, попробуйте удалить и переустановить его вручную:
