У меня такая же абсолютно ошибка вылетела.После того как понадеялся на эту «отключалку»удалил games for windows live…fallout_1991,я на 95% уверен что тебе нужна последняя версия «games for windows live»установить,эта ошибка связанна с отсутствием файлов ее библиотеки.
P.S.Я пробовал официальный патч от Беседки что бы игра не требовала games for windows live но,мне лично патч не помог не как.Очевидно,что движок третьего фоллыча на столько кривой что библиотеки Games for windows live работают как некий костыль в коде движка.И без этого приложения игра я так понял работать не будет!

Сервис с дурной репутацией Games for Windows Live закрыли ещё в 2014 году, но не до конца — некоторые PC-игры, вышедшие на стыке нулевых и десятых, всё ещё работают на GFWL. Теперь список стал короче на один пункт: злополучную оболочку убрали из Fallout 3.
Этому посвящён свежий патч для версии Fallout 3 в Steam. Ничего другого он не делает: игра перестала зависеть от GFWL, больше не устанавливает его и нормально запускается на современных системах. Steamworks добавлять не стали, то есть приятная мишура вроде достижений у Fallout 3 исчезла полностью.

Ну, если не приходилось ебаться с ключами, сохранениями и т.д., мне он даже нравился. У него интерфейс внешне довольно приятный, можно было смотреть с кем и во что ты играл и быстро отправлять сообщения. Когда играл в мульт GTA 4 активно юзал.

у меня почти всегда там всё нормально работало, даже в те годы, когда все особо активно писали про проблемы и ненавидели его.
Никогда не понимал в чём была причина такой сильной ненависти большинства. Помню ещё как ключ от одной games for windows live игры можно было применить для активации ещё 4-5 других игр от других разрабов)

Ну не знаю, когда он работал мне не мешал, я даже в DIRT 3 на заработанные поинты машинки покупал (что то подобное есть сейчас у Юбиков), так что если бы Майки смогли бы и дальше его развивать, то может он стал бы таким же оверлеем для Microsoft store как у других магазинов нынешних)

Ремастер бы Fallout 3 и New Vegas не помешал бы, хотя бы на уровне Skyrim Special Edition.
Но вряд-ли конечно, они ещё на Gamebryo, а не на Creation Engine работают, переносить их на него скорее всего никто не будет.

Как же бесит что издатель не может добавить достижения в игру, и это не только Бесесда. Игры от Юбисофт, Undertale и другие. Неужто так трудно потратить 5 минут и закинуть файл достижений которые уже есть в пс сторе?

Если не ошибаюсь, создатель Undertale не любит ачивки, поэтому намеренно не стал их добавлять. В ps4-версии, где должны быть трофеи, они даже стёбные.

Я люблю ачивки но и жалею что они вообще существуют. Часто когда их нет, я не могу в игру играть. В последнее стараюсь себя лечить. Собирать только там где ненужно игру по 50 раз перепроходить.

У версии в Steam в принципе были огромные проблемы из-за шматков кода GfWL, включая регулярные краши у многих пользователей. Я из-за этого в своё время брал GOG-версию, где не было никакой DRM от Микромягких, а игра работала прям «из коробки» без танцев с бубнами и фанатских патчей. Авось, Steam-версия теперь тоже играбельна без лишних вмешательств в игру.

GFWL это как эпидемия какая-то. Когда сервис был популярен и его вшивали в выходящие на ПК игры, то игра сразу становилась зараженной этим бесящим неудобным говном, и только спустя несколько лет игру могли отучить и перевести на Steamworks или аналоги. А некоторые игры так и не тронули, и те, кто хочет к ним прикоснуться, будут вынуждены это говнище терпеть

Как же я ненавижу фоллаут 3, до сих пор помню день, когда мне диск принесли и я с предвкушением ожидала супер-мега-крутой игры, на уровне 1 и 2 частей, а получила тухлый унылый и до невозможности кривой симулятор зачистки метро.

Покупал дисковую версию в небольшой jewel-упаковке в 2008, никакого GfWL там уже не было, а после патча 1.7 даже диск не требовался

а при 1280 на 720 игра работала более менее
при этом Нью Вегас у меня шел на высоких в фулл хд
