Greetings.

I am wondering if anyone is familiar with this game and an issue that seems to affect many. This is for a game called Feed and Grow Fish, via the Steam client.

So, Bob (calling the user Bob, I am not Bob, and I do not like Steam and prefer my games OFFLINE) has Steam and can run a bunch of games like Among Us, DC Universe, Brawlhalla. But Feed and Grow Fish (will henceforth call it Fishy) does not. The game (well, the processor) loads and then vanishes. Nothing comes on the screen. I have read dozens of people’s comments on Steam with the same issue, but no resolution (other than turning off WIFI but then your stuff not saved online).
Now, the device, a laptop running Windows 10 Home, seems to meet the game’s requirements. We loaded it on a desktop computer made several years ago, and Fishy works on that.
I am asking here because it seems no help from the Steam forums by other users (them all stuck too from what I see), and of course Steam has no control of the game. They just want the money. I have sent a few contacts to the company that made the game, but no support replies come back.
I do not see an attachment option here, so I will post as much of the Dxdiag info I have, as it seems I only have a 100,00 character limit and the original post was over 122k. And this useless sentence just made it worse.
If you have any thoughts or suggestions as to why Bob’s Fishy game not work, that be great.
And let us get out of the way that the computer is fully updated (as of today), all firmware, all drivers, no viruses, no ‘wares, no liquid damage, no tax exemption, no melting butter wafers, and no leftovers.

Greetings.

I am wondering if anyone is familiar with this game and an issue that seems to affect many. This is for a game called Feed and Grow Fish, via the Steam client.

So, Bob (calling the user Bob, I am not Bob, and I do not like Steam and prefer my games OFFLINE) has Steam and can run a bunch of games like Among Us, DC Universe, Brawlhalla. But Feed and Grow Fish (will henceforth call it Fishy) does not. The game (well, the processor) loads and then vanishes. Nothing comes on the screen. I have read dozens of people’s comments on Steam with the same issue, but no resolution (other than turning off WIFI but then your stuff not saved online).
Now, the device, a laptop running Windows 10 Home, seems to meet the game’s requirements. We loaded it on a desktop computer made several years ago, and Fishy works on that.
I am asking here because it seems no help from the Steam forums by other users (them all stuck too from what I see), and of course Steam has no control of the game. They just want the money. I have sent a few contacts to the company that made the game, but no support replies come back.
I do not see an attachment option here, so I will post as much of the Dxdiag info I have, as it seems I only have a 100,00 character limit and the original post was over 122k. And this useless sentence just made it worse.
If you have any thoughts or suggestions as to why Bob’s Fishy game not work, that be great.
And let us get out of the way that the computer is fully updated (as of today), all firmware, all drivers, no viruses, no ‘wares, no liquid damage, no tax exemption, no melting butter wafers, and no leftovers.

  • MINIMUM:
    • Memory: 4 GB RAM
    • Graphics: Direct3D 11.0 mimimum with atleast 2GB VRAM
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Storage: 2 GB available space

its possible Bob’s laptop doesn’t have the right amount of memory. Since he is running off the integrated Graphics built into CPU, it has to use the ram in PC to run. So game needs minimum of 4gb of ram to load but it can’t as your gpu also needs some of that ram to run game.

I was thinking about the VRAM issue as well as a matter of fact. The 2G VRAM and 4G hard RAM may just be pushing it to the limit for the game. Yes, he runs heavier intense games from Steam and direct installs. I have seen people mention specs beyond my affordability, and same issue. So, I am trying to look into any options than posted on the game/client-specific-type-sites.
If this is the actual case, then hmmmm…..
