First, you need to install ADB fastboot drivers. These are included in the zip file of the ADB driver. To install them, simply move the folder to the C:ADB directory.
To do this, right-click an empty space on the desktop and select “Run as administrator”. Type the following command to verify the installation of ADB and fastboot drivers. You will be prompted with a list of attached devices.
You must now open the command prompt in Windows. You can use the Start Menu or Spotlight to open it. Once you’re in the command prompt, type “cmd” and then “adb.”
If the prompt does not open automatically, select the option Open Command Prompt Here and click OK. To make sure you’re using the correct ADB commands, use a semi-colon before and after each path.
Then, double-click the shortcut to the ADB and Fastboot installer. It will prompt you to confirm or change permissions before installing the ADB and Fastboot drivers.
If you’ve got Administrator permissions, you can select “y” and click OK. Next, follow the on-screen prompts to run the installer. Once the installation is complete, you should have an ADB and Fastboot driver running on your PC.
Installing Fastboot
You should install ADB and Fastboot drivers for your Android device if you use a Windows computer. These files are available on the Android Developer’s website in the platform-tools folder.
If you use Mac or Linux, you can skip this step. To install these files, simply navigate to the platform-tools folder. You can also find them on Google’s Gdrive page. To install these drivers, follow these simple steps.
The ADB driver zip file contains a folder named platform-tools. Move this folder to C: ADB. Right-click on an empty space in the folder.
