This is a graphic user interface for the DISM command-line tool which provides you with a more user-friendly environment. The application is lightweight and portable, therefore, it does not need to install before using it on your system. It also does not make any changes to your system. The application features an intuitive and straightforward multi-tabbed interface, designed to handle exactly what it was created for – a frontend for the Deployment Image Servicing and Management.

From the “Mount Control” tab, you can select the desired WIM file, specify the index and choose the mount location. You can choose to enable read-only, open the mounted WIM file or dismount it. Under the “Driver Management” tab, you can add or delete drivers, enable the application to get a third-party driver or all the driver information from the WIM file. The other tabs are to provide you with various servicing actions.

This application is a very useful GUI for DISM, enabling you to perform actions with a click of a button without having to write any code.

DISM GUI is licensed as freeware for PC or laptop with Windows 32 bit and 64 bit operating system. It is in others programming category and is available to all software users as a free download.

Little helper for DISM commands, sfc and Cab-Install for Windows 10 and Win11

is available as a package as only x64 version for Windows 10 and Windows 11
Addendum: The exe does not have to be started as right-click as administrator. 

Programmer Wolfgang has now optically adapted DISM-Gui to Windows 11 and Windows 10. Since there is no longer a 32-bit version with Windows 11, he decided to only provide a 64-bit version.
This is already integrated. Then you have the choice of the individual commands:

Check — corresponds to the CheckHealth command — Checks whether there is component memory corruption
Scan — corresponds to the ScanHealth command — this searches for errors, but has not yet been corrected
Restore — corresponds to the RestoreHealth command — errors are searched for and automatically repaired if possible.
  -You have the choice between not set = local check (WinSxS folder) and correction
  -Install.wim Here you can use the installed.wim from an unpacked or provided ISO for the repair.
  -Install.esd If the ISO is compressed, you will find an install.esd. The repair is then carried out just like with the Install.wim from the contained files.
Analyze — Corresponds to the analyzecomponentstore command. The component memory is checked here to determine whether storage space can be released
Cleanup — Corresponds to the StartComponentCleanup command. The component store is cleaned up.
SFC Scan — is self-explanatory. Here, errors in the system are searched and attempts are made to repair them
Cab Install — With this function you can quickly and easily install a cab update. You just have to select the cab file in the window that opens and then it will be installed.
