Hello, I’m trying to diagnose an issue with the Steam version of DR2: OTR where it fails to load on Windows 10 Creators Update. The screen flashes for a second and thats it. I believe the issue to be caused by the Windows 10 update. Has anyone tried running OTR on the latest version of Windows 10? Has anyone seen this issue and found a way to resolve it?
I’m tried verifying the files through Steam, uninstalling and reinstalling, compatibility mode, moving the install to the C:, uninstalling and reinstalling GFWL per Capcom support, and nothing has worked for me so far. Dead Rising 2 itself works fine, as does Dead Rising, Dead Rising 3, and Dead Rising 4, If I load Off the Record on another PC running Windows 10 Anniversary Update, it works as well, but I know that’s only a temporary solution (thank you Microsoft and your forced updates!).
Any ideas?
