Сканер Canon CanoScan LiDE 60 не работает под Windows 10 и Windows 11. Исправим это!
LiDE 60 неплохой бытовой сканер. Он достаточно компактен, питается от USB не требуя хранения блоков питания. У многих пользователей в режиме нечастого использования он находится в отличном состоянии но к сожалению изначально не работает под ОС Windows 11 и 10 версии. LiDE 60 определяется но драйвер для него не находится, даже в результате поиска в центре обновления Windows. Нет никаких особых несовместимостей сканера и операционной системы. Просто производителю нужно делать и продавать новые модели и нет желания поддерживать старые.
Запускаем Canon CanoScan LiDE 60 под Windows 11 и Windows 10
Для этого нужно установить canoscan LiDE 60 драйвер для Windows 11 и 10 версий
- Скачиваем драйвер lide 60 Windows 11 и Windows 10 и распаковываем
- Обновляем драйвер сканера из диспетчера устройств, указав путь к драйверу
- Скачиваем утилиту для сканирования от Canon и устанавливаем, стандартное далее далее, все на русском.
- Сканируем через утилиту
Сканер начинает работать под Win11 и Win10 (у меня 64 битная версия). В программе назначаются и работают кнопки расположенные на сканере. Единственное неудобство — в сторонних программах не активен пункт получить изображение со сканера или камеры. Но это небольшой недостаток, сначала сканируем потом загружаем изображение в программу из папки. Главное, не нужно выбрасывать старый и покупать новый сканер, LiDE60 прекрасно работает под Windows 11 и Windows 10.

У меня на win11 сканер внезапно перестал работать. При попытке сканировать двигает лампой (издает звуки сканирования как обычно), но дальше лампа не едет и вылазит такое сообщение:
Помогло lide60vst6411111a_64ru.exe ссылка на которую есть в комментариях. Распаковываем. Сама она нормально под win 11 не распаковывается. Нужно открыть в 7-zip, распаковать в отдельную папку. Распакуется SetupSG.exe — ее и просто запускал и аналогично распаковал через 7-zip и запускал DELSG.EXE, SETUPSG.EXE, LAUNCH.EXE
Что-то из этого помогло и по состоянию на сентябрь 2022 сканер LiDE60 работает под Windows 11 со всеми последними обновлениями.

The newest version of paper port that works with windows 10 (OS you are running) costs $69. They might even offer an upgrade discount.
But you want to beat your head against the wall, so:
-Try installing the software in compatability mode
-Downgrade your OS
You said an earlier build of 10 (1803, 1709) worked
-Downgrade to W7 — which will be EOL 1-14-2020
-Waste more time trying to hack and resolve a trivial issue that can be solved in less than 15 min for little cost.
It seems you’ve spent a good amount of time trying to solve this problem unsuccessfully. My recommendation will solve your PaperPort problem (in both the short and long term). Some things in life just cost money. Some of us learn this early. Some late, and some never do. Which one are you?

Конечно не можете, так как CanoScan LiDE 60 поддерживает лишь операционные системы Windows до 7-ой версии. Драйвер не поддерживает Windows 10.

У меня такая же проблема. После переустановки на Windows 10 сканирование не получается. Если ОС не поддерживает что делать?

Разработчики хоть бы отписались. Что, с каждой новой операционкой новый сканер покупать что ли? Никогда в жизни не возьму больше кэнон.

As mentioned, I am having trouble using my Canon Lide 60 with Windows 10 x64. I have installed the drivers, but it is not recognized by Scanning Software.
Under Imaging Devices in Device Manager, I see CanoScan LiDE 60. When I check the properties, I see Driver Version 11.1.1.1, and that it’s connected Port_#0001.Hub_#0003.
When I go into any scanning software, and try to initiate a scan, I see my HP All In One, but not my Canon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

CanoScan LiDE 35 on Windows 10 x64
I was able to get my Lide 35 to work using drivers meant for Lide 60.
I have windows 10 64 bit so I chose Vista 64 bit LIDE 60 Drivers. Windows 7 64 bit LIDE 60 Drivers works too. They are both the same file.Installing requires to go to device manager and updating device drivers for the faulty installed canon scanner using the «have a disk» option. The LIDE 60 driver has to be unzipped / uncompressed. You will choose the only .INF file in the unzipped / uncompressed LIDE 60 driver. You will get a warning on incompatibility but that’s about it. You don’t even need to restart the computer!
Note: I was receiving TWAIN error messages when I used Canon Toolbox version 4.5 that came with Lide 35.
I used Canon Toolbox version 4.9 that comes with LIDE 60 and I was finally able to scan without the TWAIN error message. You can probably even have a work around to this using a custom scanner software these days.All the files can be downloaded in the canon website. Do a google search for «LIDE 60 Drivers» and it will point you to the canon site with the LIDE 60 drivers and software.
I did NOT have to tweak the path in environment variables.
I did NOT have to tweak the .inf files.
I did NOT have to edit compatibility settings.
I did NOT have to select the Available drivers that came with Windows 10 as a substitute driver.
I did NOT have to uninstall other LIDE software (I also use LIDE 220 on the same desktop).
And I did NOT have to disable driver signature verification.Cheers!

CanoScan LiDE 35 on Windows 10 x64
Hi, I’ve tried in vain to get my Lide 60 scanner to work with Windows 10. The scanner works with Win7 and OSX. I’ve followed the above instructions several times and no dice. I’ve tried all plugging the scanner into all my usb ports. I can’t even get VueScan to recognize the scanner in Win 10. Any suggestions? Thanks.
P.S.
I get this weird error message below, when I click «switch to» it brings up the win 10 start menu thingy then says «cannot communicate with scanner…missing twain driver»
