Download drivers for Asus X53B Notebook
After installing the operating system on the laptop, the next step is to download and install the drivers for each component. This process is challenging for some users, but if you understand everything, you can perform all the steps in a few minutes. Let’s see in detail five options to do it.
Today, not all modern notebooks come with a disc with all the appropriate software, so users have to find and download it on their own. Each method considered below has its own algorithm of actions, so before choosing, we recommend that you familiarize yourself with all of them.
Method 1: The official support page of the developer
The same files that would go on the disk are kept on the official ASUS website and are available to all users for free. All you have to do is identify the product, find the download page, and do the rest. The complete process is as follows:
Go to the official ASUS website

- At the top you will see several sections to choose from. «Service». and go to subsection «Support»..
- There is a search bar on the help page. Click the left mouse button and type the model of your laptop.
- It will take you to the product page. In it, select the section «Drivers and Utilities»..
- Normally, the operating system installed on the laptop is automatically detected. However, before proceeding to the search for drivers, we recommend that you read what is specified in the special line. If necessary, change this parameter specifying your version of Windows.
- It only remains to select the most recent file and click the corresponding button to start the download.
Installation is done automatically after the installer starts, so no further action is required from you.
Method 2: Official ASUS Software
To facilitate the use of its products, ASUS has developed its own software that searches for updates and offers them to the user. This method is easier than the previous one, because the software finds the drivers by itself. All you have to do is the following:
Go to the official ASUS website
- Open ASUS support page via pop-up menu «Service»..
- Of course, you can open a list of all products and find your mobile computer model there, but it is easier to write the name on the line and go to its page.
- The program you are looking for is in «Drivers and Utilities».
- A unique file is downloaded for each version of the operating system, so set this option first by selecting the appropriate option from the pop-up menu.
- In the list of all utilities that opens, look for «ASUS Live Update Utility». and download it.
- In the installer, click «Next»..
- Specify the location where you want to save the program and start the installation process.
- Once this process is complete, the Update Utility will automatically open, where you can go directly to check for updates by clicking «Check for updates immediately.».
- Found files are installed after clicking «Install»..
Method 3: Additional Software

Method 5: Windows Built-in Utility
Windows 7 and later versions have a very practical and well implemented built-in feature that allows you to automatically update hardware drivers over the Internet.
