    Extract AltInstaller.zip and run Setup.exe.

  2. 3.

    Go to search in your Windows task bar, then type in «AltServer» and click «Run as administrator.» Make sure to allow access to private networks if prompted. AltStore will appear as an icon in the taskbar.

4. Connect your iOS device to your computer and make sure it is unlocked. Trust your device with your computer if needed.

5. Open iTunes, then enable «Wi-Fi sync» on your device.

6. Click the AltServer icon in the bottom right taskbar. Then go to “Install AltStore” and choose your iOS device.

7. Enter your Apple ID email address and password. This will allow AltServer to authenticate with Apple and configure your account to support sideloading apps.

Your Apple ID and password are sent only to Apple — not us or anyone else.

8. Wait a few seconds, then an AltServer notification should appear saying AltStore has been successfully installed onto your device.

You may need to restart your device to make AltStore appear on your Home Screen.

9. On your iOS device, go to Settings -> General -> Profiles & Device Management. Tap “Trust [Your Apple ID],” then tap “Trust” again to confirm.

«Profiles & Device Management» may read as a number of things depending on your version, but you can always find it near the bottom of Settings -> General.

Enable Developer Mode (iOS 16+)

11. To use AltStore on iOS 16 or later, you need to enable Developer Mode on your device by going to Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Developer Mode.

3, reboot pc

4, log into icloud for windows & open itunes

5, Connect ya device to itunes & check ‘sync with this iphone over wifi’ box in itunes, lower part of idevices summary page & hit the sync button.

5, Download, unzip & install altstore V1.2.2b (https://altstore.io/altserver/beta/) (not the file called setup, but the one called AltInstaller)

Now you should be able to use altstore on win7 💪

(Afaik icloud for windows needs to be logged into, but not actually running, so after you can kill it on startup with msconfig.)

Any issues connecting to apple servers with icloud/itunes or altstore throws a akanisette -8004 error, you may need to:

Reset the win7 host file (i did it anyway) (heres a guide: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/972034/how-to-reset-the-hosts-file-back-to-the-default)

Youll also need to go to control panel> internet options > connections tab, then under LAN settings, turn off automatically detect settings & uncheck the proxy server (if enabled),

Finally, if after all that it still doesnt work, the only other thing ive done is default the dns. I used this https://support.pearson.com/getsupport/s/article/Reset-an-Internet-Connection-Flush-DNS#win7

You can either keep altstore opening at startup or open manually, itunes NEEDS to be open while altstore is running otherwise it wont work.

Please do this as a fresh/clean install as its the only version ive got to work properly, as long as icloud & itunes connect to the network, you should be good to go.

(Altstore icon will look like a notepad/word doc lol) No need for all these youtube fixes

The installation process is pretty straightforward. First, set up AltServer on your PC/Mac, use AltServer to install AltStore to your devices, then use AltStore to install uYouPlus. Your iDevice must be connected to your PC/mac during the whole process.

Install AltStore

 macOS:

1. Requirements:

  • macOS 10.14.4 and up.
  • An iOS/iPadOS device running iOS 13 and later (because uYouPlus requires iOS/iPadOS 13+).
  • An Apple account: you can use a spare account, but make sure that account was logged into a device before. Otherwise, you will get error -22411 (See https://github.com/rileytestut/AltStore/issues/175).

3. After you successfully installed AltStore, head to Installing uYouPlus!

  • iTunes and iCloud from Apple installed. AltStore will not work with iTunes & iCloud from Microsoft Store

🐧 Linux

AltServer-Linux

  • AltServer doesn’t support Linux by default. Thanks @NyaMisty to port AltServer to Linux OS. AltServer-Linux is open source and you can see its source code here: https://github.com/NyaMisty/AltServer-Linux
  • Since Linux is not my main OS, I’m afraid I can’t help you much. However, if Linux is your main OS, I’m sure you know how to configure it properly.
  • Note that you may need to compile from the source to build the latest version of AltServer-Linux.

ZSign

Installing uYouPlus

✔︎ Now that you have AltStore installed on your iDevice, Let’s start installing uYouPlus

1. Configure AltStore:

  • AltStore is installed on your phone, but you can’t open it right now. To fix that, go to Settings > General > Profile & Device Management. There will be a profile with your account name in here. After you trust the profile, AltStore can be opened.

  • In AltStore, go to Settings > Sign in with Apple ID. Enter the Apple ID that was used to install AltStore. If AltStore says “Could not find AltServer”, then check if your phone is connected to Mac/PC.

  • Congrats 🎉 You’ve just successfully configured AltStore.

2. Install uYouPlus:

  • Get the latest version of uYouPlus from the Release page. I use Safari but you can use whatever you want to download the IPA. Select AltStore from the Share sheet.

  • Remove App Extensions is not recommened because it will remove the ability to use Open in YouTube shortcut & Open in YouTube Extension.
  • uYouPlus will take 3 app IDs in total.

  • The process might take a few minutes. After that, you will see uYouPlus on your Home Screen 🎉🎉🎉

☞ Other methods:

  • Another method is use the direct install link on uYouPlus homepage. Simply open the link and let AltStore does its job.

Refresh uYouPlus

  • Unfortunately, apps that have been installed using non-developer Apple IDs are only valid for 7 days, and uYouPlus is not an exception. At which point it will no longer open (you’ll see an error that says «YouTube is no longer available«).
  • To compensate for this, AltStore will periodically attempt to refresh uYouPlus in the background. In order for AltStore to do that, you must connect your phone with your Mac/PC via cable or Wi-fi. Then click Refresh All in AltStore > My Apps
  • To enable Refresh Apps over Wi-fi. Make sure your phone and your mac/PC are on the same network.
    • macOS: Open Finder and enable “Show this iPhone when on WiFi” for your phone.
    • Windows: Open iTunes and enable iTunes Wi-Fi sync for your phone.
