The Qualcomm Snapdragon modems are a series of 4G LTE, LTE Advanced, LTE Advanced Pro, and 5G NR modems found in many phones, tablets, laptops, watches and even cars.
Qualcomm Gobi[edit]
The Qualcomm Gobi series was their modem branding before they switched to the X-series.[1][2]

This is a pretty good router so far. I really surprised me on the performance. You get the essential speeds for home use and it is about the same as most average router. It does not have have some extra bells and whistles to it. I would say it works best home rather than office use for sure as this is not the top of the line router. I would say this is just your basic router. That being said, it does well for home usage. The router is similar size and design as other brands. The setup was not too difficult compared to other routers. It did have a bit of a hard time reaching the dead zone of my house compared to my other router. This actually reached and covered my dead zone area surprisingly. As with any router, I will suggest it put this device in the upstairs part of the house to get a better signal. Cudy has similar security features as most routers from what I can tell. The security feature is very easy to setup and user friendly so you do not have to be a tech wizard to set it up. I would say another thing about this device is that the user interface is pretty straight forward and easy to use compared to many other brands. The signal distance is better than my old router. It can go through several rooms before having issues with connection. It does have Ethernet ports to plug directly into the router and does not require any additional setup to your device. The device is very big and because of the design cannot really be laid down. There are LED lights in the front are not super bright but can be distracting at night. Again it does have several Ethernet ports on the back to make it easy for the router to provide direct lines to other devices. Overall I do feel that this device works beat my expectation. It is not very challenging to setup and works well once you are done it is really blazing fast, but the signal does actually killed my dead zone. This device does run a bit hotter than normal so do not leave this in direct sun light or anything. It has plenty of antennas to help with the signal but it still does not reach as far as many other routers.

Description states the Cellular Router works with all providers. I was on the phone with ATT for over an hour trying to get it to work. It is not an authorized device on ATT network.

I asked them if I could be a product tester for them and they were not interested but I have continued to tell people while camping that this is the best and simplest LTE router to set up in your camper. You basically give it a password and put the Sim card in it I show everyone I camp around how easy I set up my LTE Internet using this router. I recently upgraded to the cat six and I do get a little better performance.

I recently bought the Cudy AC1200 single sim router, but decided to replace it with this Cudy dual sim model. It pairs well with two EIOT Club data only sim cards I purchased here on Amazon. I put in the sims, powered up the router, and was connected to the internet in about a minute. Once I re-named the (two) router connections to what I wanted in the router settings, it was secure and good to go! Not a super fast connection (it is after all 4G LTE), but it is stable and makes a great back up internet!

I bought this a month ago and I constantly need to reboot it to bring the internet back online. I can’t figure out the issue. I’ve emailed support and no response. I must be the only one having this issue because they have 4 stars. I don’t believe it.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What’s this? )
As of yet, I’ve only used this router without the SIM car, as I haven’t yet purchased/activated a SIM with LTE access. The router is connected to my cable modem and has been performing admirably for the last 5 months. No reboots have been needed and the connection is reliable and fast. My house is old with plaster walls on top of wire mesh, so signals normally die fast. This router has done a good job of going through at least two of those walls while still being able to send/receive at speeds that don’t get any complaints from the family.
My thought was to use the SIM card as a backup in the event that the cable internet goes down, but our service has been very reliable so it hasn’t triggered me to go and buy the SIM yet. I’ll report back once I get a SIM card.

Easy setup if you follow the instructions. I used this on my RV trip to connect my PC to and it’s not super fast but gets the job done. The range was descent and minimal drops. I would recommend using both sims and you should be good to go.

Great product, worried about backdoors

LTE routers are expensive, and usually come with outdated WiFi, crap firmware, locked to a vendor, etc.
LTE drives up prices for modems due to the volume/cost to produce.
This is a bit pricey compared to a normal router, but there are some really good features for a LTE router:
1. Firmware
The firmware is very well thought out, clean and FAST. You can tell that they know that certain carriers limit sharing, so they have workarounds. I think it’s based on openwrt (url says luci).
2. WiFi speeds
Most come with 2.4ghz only, which is a shame in 2023. This is a newer device, and comes with 5ghz, and with AC1200, which I get on a M1 Macbook Air 2020.
3. Dual SIM
Most chinese-based phones have dual SIMs, so this is no difference. You can choose which SIM to use, configure each one, nice.
My worries…
The only thing I’m curious about is if they contain a backdoor. Google around how many random chinese brands now have backdoors in their routers.
I’ll see if I can obtain the firmware, but given the drivers might not be opensource this might be harder. Given that this is just something I’m using for a 4 day holiday (and future holidays now, too.. hopefully!), I’m not relying on the device in the long term and I use wireguard on my clients..

Ich verwende das Gerät in einer kleinen Wohnung und kann daher nicht viel über die Reichweite vom Wlan sagen. In der Wohnung habe ich das Wlan auf minimale Leistung eingestellt (die niedrigste von drei möglichen Leistungseinstellungen im Wlan-Setup) -und es funktioniert mit zwei Handys und einem Laptop einwandfrei. An einen RJ45-LAN-Port hängt noch ein Desktop-PC.
Die Weboberfläche reagiert jederzeit erfreulich zügig. Von den Einstellungen vermisse ich, für meine Bedürfnisse nichts-/ ganz im Gegenteil (s. Foto).
Was mich sehr erstaunt hat ist der gemessene Stromverbrauch im Betrieb mit 1xLAN + 2x Wlan aktiv + laufenden Videostream über Amazon = 5 bis max. 7 Watt !!. Die Messung des Verbrauchs habe ich einige Stunden laufen lassen — keine Änderung!. Das Gerät läuft bereits seit einigen Tagen ohne Unterbrechung — ohne irgendwelche Schwankungen. Respekt dafür an die Entwikler!.
Sicherlich wird jeder etwas vermissen was aus seiner Sicht wichtig ist — hier stelle ich mir die Frage: wie wichtig ist mir das was fehlt? — welches Gerät käme sonst noch in Frage? — wie stabil läuft das andere Gerät? — bietet mir ein anderes Gerät wirklich all das was für mich wichtig ist? (unwahrscheinlich…).
Und zum guten Schluss kommt noch die Kostenfrage. Allerspätestens hier ist dieses Gerät unter Berücksichtigung von dem was es leistet — ein Schnäppchen, welches ich nicht mehr weggeben möchte.

Quasi plug and play

Ce routeur 4G avec WAN RJ45 est exceptionnel sur le papier :
— Double SIM pour une sécurité de connexion accrue
— Connecteur WAN pour pouvoir connecter sa connexion fixe (fibre, ADSL, …)
— Mode failover automatique (le routeur privilégie la connexion WAN puis bascule automatiquement sur l’un des réseaux 4G maintenir la connexion internet sur le réseau)
— Une interface graphique moderne
— Un démarrage rapide
Maintenant, la pratique.
Avant de l’allumer, il faut mettre la carte SIM. Le routeur ne supporte pas l’insertion à chaud, il y a un risque de griller la carte SIM. Ensuite on allume, et au bout d’1 ou 2mn, tout fonctionne déjà en se connectant en WIFI ou en RJ45 sur un des 3 ports LAN restants disponibles (si on utilise le port WAN, à configurer cependant).
Il est nécessaire de se connecter à l’interface (192.168.10.1) pour terminer la configuration du routeur (entrer le code PIN de la SIM, configurer le réseau WIFI, …).
Certaines fonctions ne sont pas forcément intuitives, comme par exemple la modification de la plage du réseau local (configurée par défaut sur la plage 192.168.10.x) ou encore la réservation d’adresses sur le serveur DHCP, mais à force de navigation, on y arrive.
J’avais un D-Link DWR-953 juste avant (même principe, routeur 4G avec WAN), eh bien le D-Link est à la ramasse, clairement, surtout qu’il est bien plus cher !)
Pour le moment, je ne suis pas déçu par ce Cudy LT700.
